Plans and seats
What Free and Pro include, who takes a seat, what happens when Pro ends, and who manages billing.
Billing is managed by the organization's owner
Billing belongs to an organization, and every workspace in it shares its plan. A new organization starts on Free, with no card needed.

Every call an AI agent makes counts, whether it reads or writes. For more, or to pay by invoice, ask about Enterprise on the pricing page.
Free
Free is for one person:
- Boards: in each workspace your 3 newest boards stay editable; older ones can still be opened, exported and commented on. A board in Trash still counts.
- Images: deleting an image frees its place at once; images on a board in Trash still count.
- One per person: if you own several organizations on Free, Free works only in the one you have owned longest, and the others are read-only until they have Pro.
Seats
On Pro, everyone in the organization takes a seat, the owner and read-only members included. An invitation takes a seat until it is accepted, withdrawn or expires.
Inviting someone needs Pro. When every seat is taken, the owner adds one while inviting and sees the amount first. Everyone else asks the owner.
Removing someone, or withdrawing an invitation, frees a seat: give it to someone else, or pay for one fewer from your next payment. With fewer paid seats than people, the owner and earliest members keep their roles; the others can view until seats are added. See Manage members.
Who manages billing
Only the organization's owner, on Billing under the organization's name in Settings: the plan, this month's usage, Upgrade to Pro, Change seats, payment details under Manage, Cancel plan or Reactivate, and invoices. Everyone else sees Billing with a lock.
When Pro ends
After cancelling, Pro works until the paid month ends. After a failed payment, Pro stays on for 14 days, and updating your payment method turns it back on. A full refund of the month's payment, or a chargeback on any payment, ends Pro at once.
Then the organization moves to Free. Nothing is deleted and nobody is removed:
- the oldest workspace stays editable, with its 3 newest boards and its oldest plan;
- other workspaces, boards and plans are read-only;
- the owner keeps editing, and everyone else can view, comment and vote.
If you own another organization on Free that you have owned longer, everything here becomes read-only instead. If you own a newer one on Free, Free moves here from it. Upgrading again makes everything editable.
